Getting to the end of this one of many essays I have to read by david foster Wallace

I’m just like damn

You’re hella gonna need a bookmark for this one huh

I’m only saying I have to read it bc I sorta do since jem hella lied to her boss about reading

David foster Wallace specifically

He loaned her a copy of this essay collection that I now have to read so she can report back

I was hella trying to thumb through the second essay too just to see how long it is when I had to stop myself like you know what

Fuck it

Let’s just say that it’s hella long and that you’re probably not gonna finish it during your next ride out here tomorrow morning

My biggest fear

Whenever I’m reading someone like him is that I’ll just like hella start trying to write like him

You know like I always have to like hella tell myself like don’t start hella trying to write like him

He’s hella crazy

He killed himself

It’s not so much that he killed himself but that he’s just like a literary genius so his style is just like not really all that good for comedy like if I could write like him I would just do that tbh

I wouldn’t be doing comedy like at all if I could write like david foster Wallace

I would just be like writing hella stuff like he writes

You know like essays and novels etc
